24 Youth Leaders Graduate from AIM's Bridging Leadership Course
Makati City, Philippines - Last May 16, 2016, the pioneer cohort of the Future Bridging Leaders Program (FBLP) of the Asian Institute of Management TeaM Energy Center for Bridging Leadership (AIMTEC) graduated from their one-year Bridging Leadership (BL) course. The 24 young Bridging Leaders, organized into six change project groups, had the opportunity to present the progress of their change projects to the AIM community, Center partners, and potential funders during the graduation ceremony.
Out of nearly 100 applicants, the youth fellows were carefully selected to undergo intensive workshops on the three core processes of BL: Ownership, Co-ownership, and Co-creation. Together with AIM professors, industry coaches, and distinguished BL Fellows, they designed and launched six change projects in education, enterprise development, employment, governance, cultural heritage, and health under the FBLP.
The FBLP is the active response of AIMTEC and AIM to the need for leadership development and participation among the Filipino youth in initiating and sustaining platforms and projects that will produce positive social impact in their respective communities. The Center, through the generous support of TeaM Energy Foundation, Inc. (TEFI), launched the FBLP on June 3, 2015 as its flagship fellowship program for the youth after twelve years of knowledge creation and capacity building on the BL Framework.
