JOB OPENING: Senior Researcher and Research Associate
The AIM-TeaM Energy Center for Bridging Leadership is looking for one (1) Senior Researcher and one (1) Research Associate for the development of case studies on labor and migration issues. The short engagement of around three (3) months will entail field work and actual writinf of cases under the supervision of an AIM professor.
The ASEAN Triangle Project (ATP) aims to reduce the exploitation of migrant workers in the ASEAN region through legal and safe migration and improved labor practices. To fulfill this objective, it plans to enhance the capacity of government to oversee the development, improvement, and enforcement of labour and migration regulations and services.
In line with this mission, the ATP, through the International Labour Organization, has invited the AIM Stephen Zuellig Graduate School of Development Management and the AIM-TeaM Energy Center for Bridging Leadership to develop case studies on labor and migration issues, and deliver a regional training programme for labour attachés and consular officials in the region as a means of increasing their skills and capacities to effectively accomplish their function of protecting migrant workers.
